We will keep you updated with any further details about Age of Empires IV, but in the meantime, we previously wrote an article explaining some of the new directions the developers are trying to take in the next instalment of the series. Age of Empires IV officially released on October 28 and World’s Edge and Relic Entertainment have loved watching you play As we shared on the eve of our launch, October 28 signified the beginning, but we’re far from done. The week following the broadcast will feature a free limited-time event held on the Age of Empires website, but currently, there’s no news as to what the event will bring.
There will also be some news for those of you that own Age of Empires II and Age of Empires III Definitive Editions too. This is the first new numbered Age of Empires title in 16 years, and we’re honored to have added a chapter to this globally beloved franchise.

The broadcast will include a preview of the Age of Empires IV campaign, gameplay, and civilisations. One of the most beloved real-time strategy games returns to glory with Age of Empires IV, putting you at the center of epic historical battles that shaped the world.
The stream is expected to last for around 30 minutes and will start at 9am PT/12PM ET/5pm CET. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset.
